Barnard Castle 3rd International Guitar Festival 13 - 16 June
On Saturday 15th from 12.30 to 4.00pm, enjoy the unique opportunity of a masterclass with Emily Burridge entitled 'Transferring Bach's Cello Suites to the Guitar' and join a question and answer session on her time in Brazil. Players £25 Auditors £10
Follow this with a Mediterranean Supper accompnied by guitar music from Spain and Latin America. £10 per head.
Then join us at 7.30pm as we welcome back the wonderful Giulio Tampalini playing Italian music spanning 5 centuries, following the Kupinski Duo from Poland. Tickets Friends £12 Guests £15 Children under 16 years FREE.

Visit to the Lindisfarne Gospels Exhibition in Durham 30 July
There are only 30 places available on the coach to see this wonderful exhibition and to hear a talk given by Professor Richard Gameson, Professor of the History of the Book. There will also be time to visit the castle or to browse the streets of Durham. Price £25. Places have now been filled, but there is a waiting list - if there are sufficient names on the list, a further coach will be booked.
Lindisfarne and the Gospel Tradition Thursday 26 September 2.30pm
An illustrated talk by Canon Trevor Pitt, former principal of the North East Ordination Course, based in Durham. This will be of particular interest to those who have visited the Gospels Exhibition, but also to those who enjoy exploring the religious and spiritual history of our area. Friends £8 Guests £9 (This is a Cafe Bowes Lunch Club date - 3 course meal and coffee/tea £15, to be booked through the Museum Reception)
