October Half Term Fun at The Bowes Museum

Heritage Lottery Fund Awards £10,000 To The Bowes Museum For Its Linking Children To Local Heritage Project

The Bowes Museum is delighted to announce that it has been awarded £10,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for its Linking Children to Local Heritage: Sharing the Museum’s Roll of Honour with Schools project. Icicle Queens Sure to Melt Hearts at The Bowes Museum's Christmas Market

The Bowes Museum’s well established Christmas Market – a firm favourite in the regional calendar – takes place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December 2016.

 

For a small cover charge of £2.50 visitors can look forward to a wide array of fabulous food and creative craft stalls, use of the Santa bus ‘park and ride’ facility and admission to the Museum, including access to the current exhibitions.
