Secondary Art Teacher CPD Event (3rd December 2016) 1.00-4.45pm, FREE

To celebrate the Museum securing funding to acquire an outstanding 15th century painting by Dieric Bouts, St Luke Drawing the Virgin and Child we are offering teachers the opportunity to participate in an interactive and practical workshop including a 3D clay sculpture session. Using Museum Visits to Support Your Curriculum (13th February 2017) 1.00-4.30pm, FREE

You will discover the potential for curriculum links within The Bowes Museum collection and participate in a variety of taster workshops covering subjects including art, history and literacy. Teachers will also participate in a fully immersive project which can be replicated with your children following any school trip! This event is aimed at primary teachers.
