Panel: Portrait of King Charles II

The panel shows young King Charles II, with long hair and moustache, standing in front of looped back curtains, wearing crown, lace collar, and robes of crimson (faded) lined with ermine. Underneath in separate section is a dragon, partly bated breathing fire. It is embroidered with coloured silks on satin, mainly long and short stitch.
