Pair-cased silver watch no.4095 by John McCaskie of Liverpool. Plain outer case hallmarked for London 1804-5, with marker's mark G.C. Inner case, also plain, similarly hallmarked. Dial of white enamel with polychrome decoration of Masonic symbols; in the centre an arch with chequered floor below on which are the tablets of the law, a ladder ascending to a cloud and the dove with olive branch; to the left the sun, the ark and the compass and square; to the right the moon, a bee skep and a seal. Hours marked with black arabic numerals.
