This silver verge watch and its outer case bear the hallmarked in Chester with the date letter for 1825-6, with the marker's mark T.H.&Co (?) which is as yet unidentified. The backplate is inscribed: "Barnard Castle / M. Johnson / No.2086. Size: Diameter: 5.5 cm.
