Having recently been completely refurbished, the acclaimed Café Bowes is a superb place to spoil yourself, either whilst visiting the Museum or simply as a stand alone dining destination. Head Chef, Gary Lowe has a visual and simple style with a passion for good quality seasonal produce.

Café Bowes will be closed for essential maintenance on Monday 23 November. Light refreshments will be available in the Jubilee Room situated on the 2nd Floor, last serving is at 4.00. We appreciate your patience at this time.

Entrance to Café Bowes is free of charge, you do not need to be a paying visitor to the Museum, and it is open daily 10.00 till 4.30. (Closed only 25, 26 December and 1 January.)
