Enjoy a weekend learning innovative ways of stitching with gold threads all for £175.00 per person. This includes:
- Expert tuition throughout with Helen Winthorpe Kendrick
- All materials
- Exclusive guided tour of the award winning Fashion & Textile Gallery with the Keeper of Textiles, including collections not on public view
- Private tour of the 'Glass Cube' with the Museum's Keeper of Textiles
- Delicious homemade refreshments and lunches
- 2 course evening meal with your tutur in a charming Tudor Inn

Timetable
Friday 19th April 2013
3.00pm Arrive at The Bowes Museum. Meet the Textile curator in the Glass Cube to view items from the study collection and tour the Fashion and Textile Gallery.
4.00pm Cream tea in Café Bowes to meet the Tutor and your fellow embroiderers
5.00pm Depart for own choice of accommodation. Evening free.
Saturday 20th April
10.00am Arrive at museum. Introduction to the course and first session.
11.30am Refreshments in workroom
1.00pm Lunch Break
2.00pm Watch The Silver Swan automaton perform and enjoy a guided tour of the Museum
2.15pm Private tour of the Museum
3.15pm Second Session , with refreshments
4.45pm Finish for the day
7.00pm Evening meal together in Barnard Castle
Sunday 21st
10.00am Arrive for third stitching session, refreshments included
12.00 noon Lunch in the opulent Jubilee Room followed by free time to explore the museum and its grounds
2.00pm Final session, including refreshments
3.30pm Farewell
Accompanying persons will receive a day pass into the Museum. They are also welcome to attend the Saturday evening meal at an extra cost of £18.00
