Contemporary Art & Fashion Programme

An exciting programme of Contemporary Art & Fashion to include:

• a stunning wedding gown designed by Titanic survivor, Lucile, Lady Duff Gordon
• enigmatic black and white photographs of Mexican artists, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, organised by the Mexican Embassy as part of the Vamos! Festival 2012
• a dramatic selection of hats designed by leading international milliner, Stephen Jones displayed on vintage mannequin heads in the Museum’s award-winning Fashion & Textile Gallery
• a collection of bronze sculptures of celebrated artist, Keith Coventry highlighting universal themes such as the decline of society, urban violence and a belief in art’s restorative powers
• Luca Costigliolo, internationally celebrated theatrical and historical costumier recreating our founder, Joséphine Bowes’ ball gown, live in the Fashion & Textile Gallery
