Six outstanding Spanish and English contemporary painters established a rich cultural dialogue through expensive abstract art for this amazing exhibition. The Bowes Museum has long established links with Spain and houses one of the largest collections of Spanish paintings in Britain. It was therefore appropriate that we hosted this exciting international exhibition, which was on tour from the Conde Duque, Gallery in Madrid.
