Guided Tour

 

The Friends of The Bowes Museum offer free introductory tours which last between 45 minutes and one hour. Please book at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability.

 

Specialist Lectures & Gallery Talks

 

The Bowes Museum has a team of Curators and Conservators responsible for exhibiting and preserving different aspects of the Collections. The dedicated members of staff are available to give Lectures or Gallery Talks on their specialist subjects. Talks are often also available on our current exhibitions, please enquire for further details. These are charged on an hourly basis of £60, and are available Monday to Friday. Maximum numbers in a group for a Gallery Talk is 20, larger audiences can enjoy lectures in our Jubilee Room. To ensure availability please book Lectures and Gallery Talks as early as possible.
