Half Term Fun

Saturday, 22 February – Sunday, 2 March

This February Half Term, the whole family can get involved in a variety of free activities included in admission. With nature, sustainability and innovation at the heart of this year’s programme, the museum celebrates 200 years of its inspiring co-founder Joséphine Bowes.

Enjoy daily self-guided Museum Make activities all day, everyday in the Create Space, get wrapped up and explore the 22 acres of parkland with Explorer Bags, and uncover fascinating facts about objects in the galleries with the Deadly Beauty from the Medicine Box trail booklet.

There’s a variety of brand-new activities including Seed Bombs and Nature Spotters, and some familiar favourites, Family Story Tour and drop-in Artist Maker Workshops.

Older teens and adults can book onto Still Life and Brooch Making Workshops, and there’s an opportunity to see the inspiring exhibition, From Joséphine Bowes: Trendsetters and Trailblazers.

Enjoy a fun-filled day out and quality time with friends and family. Don’t forget, under 18’s and full-time students always go free!
