The First Part of the Woodland Adventure…

6 Dec 2011

My job is a multi-functional one and at present I am co-ordinating some improvements to the park. The Woodland Walk is a refurbishment of the original path that goes around the perimeter of the park. This is really exciting as it means visitors can now have a clean and solid path to walk on and they can see a lot of the park which often gets overlooked, unless you are a local dog walker. I think some visitors just don’t realise we have 26 acres of park to see with lots of wildlife. We hope to include a nature trail and a children’s play park and I’ll keep this blog updated.

So far the start of the project looks really good and its nice job to go out and see how progress is going. Our only worry is the weather we can get here and we are praying we don’t get weather like the last two winters! With a bit of luck we should be finished by next Easter.
