Discover the hidden architecture beneath some of the dresses within the fashion and textiles collection. From corsets to crinolines and bustles, explore the ingenious structures that once sculpted and supported the body. Items from the handling collection will also be available for you to touch. This event is part of our Heritage Open Days programme, celebrating England’s largest festival of history and culture.

Taking place in the Cube within the Fashion and Textiles gallery, recommended for adults and young people, children under 14 must be accompanied. Maximum of 12 people per session.
