Artist Makers: Bowes Bespoke Automata

Based on objects within the museum’s collection create your own colourful automata with Betty Brown. You’ll colour, cut and assemble your moving creations with paper fasteners provided in this easy and fun activity. This event is part of our Heritage Open Day programme, celebrating England’s largest festival of history and culture.

Drop-in activity in the Create Space, recommended for ages 8+. Children under 16 must be accompanied.
