Bat Boxes

Join us this autumn you build your own bat box from recycled materials or decorate a ready-made one. Take your creation home to welcome bats into your own garden.  

Activity taking place in the Outdoor Classroom (in between the Bowling Green and Tennis Court behind the museum) or Create Space in the case of bad weather.  Booking required, however, there may be availability on the day. Ask reception for details.  Suitable for ages 3+, children under 14 must be accompanied.

To reserve your place click ‘book tickets’ and select the ticket that suits you. We’ll confirm your membership when you arrive, or you can pay for a day ticket/ join as a member on the day.

Please note: There is a £4.00 charge per bird house if opting to decorate one that’s ready-made. Payment to be made at point of booking.
