Be You at The Bowes

Be You at The Bowes is a LGBTQIA+ co-production working group is the first of its kind at the Museum, teaming up with regional partners and working as a community to learn from one another and grow together. The group will investigate queer narratives within the collection. Join a group of like-minded people to create inclusive content and research further into historical objects from around Europe.  

Ages 18+. Booking required. Please note: This working group is delivered both online and in-person.

Upcoming online sessions (Zoom), 6:00pm-8:00pm: Tuesday 10 & 24 June, 8 July, 5 & 19 Aug, 2 & 30 Sept, 14 & 28 Oct, 11 & 25 Nov and 9 Dec 2025.
Upcoming in-person sessions, 10:00-12:00: Tuesday 22 July & 16 September 2025.
