Charcoal Workshop

In this 2-hour workshop, artist Zoe Allen will lead participants through the Museum’s current exhibition Kith & Kinship: Norman Cornish and L. S. Lowry, inviting discussion about the artwork on display and considering the materials used by the artists.

Zoe will then lead a creative, practical drawing workshop using charcoal, beginning with exploring the qualities of the material through mark-making and exploring different drawing techniques. Make your own landscape drawing using the skills you have learnt to take home.
