Ever wondered how we look after the thousands of objects in the museum’s vast collection? Join our dedicated Collections Team to discover the secrets of museum care. Watch how precious items are cleaned and preserved. You might even pick up some handy tips for looking after treasures at home. This event is part of our Heritage Open Days programme, celebrating England’s largest festival of history and culture.

Taking place in the Objects on the Move gallery, recommended for all visitors, children under 14 must be accompanied.
