Take action for climate and nature this Great Big Green Week and venture through the parkland, discovering the rich ecosystem that thrives around us. Take a guided leisurely stroll around the woodland walk to identify native plants and see and hear the wildlife that call the museum grounds home. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to become a parkland ranger for the day! Take part in a special nature survey of the area, helping us to record the plants and wildlife you encounter to help us better understand the biodiversity surrounding the museum. Meet in the main entrance.
Suitable for all ages. Booking recommended, however, spaces may be available on the day. Ask Reception for details.
Please note: The session will be accessible, and the woodland walk is suitable for wheelchair users and those with pushchairs or buggies.
