Guided Tour
Make your visit more memorable with a guided tour around some of the highlights in the collection. Led by a friendly and knowledgeable volunteer, the tour will explain how The Bowes Museum came about and how the founders, John and Josephine Bowes, left behind such a comprehensive and stunning collection of art treasures. Tours take place most days at 11.15am. Places need to be booked and there is a small charge of £3.
