Guided tour of Gibside
Join us to learn more about the estate which John Bowes owned and where his mother lived. Today the estate is in the care of the National Trust. David Butler, retired archivist at Durham Record Office, volunteers as a history guide at Gibside. Refreshments are available on site (not included in ticket price).
9.00: Coach pick up at The Bowes Museum outside of main gate
10.15: Arrival at Gibside
11.00: Tour lasting 90 minutes
12.30-2.15: Free time to explore
2.30: Depart for The Bowes Museum
