Pet Project: Squishee Painting

Have you ever wanted to be part of an exhibition? With our current exhibition, Pippa Hale: Pet Project, artist Pippa Hale has transformed the museum’s ceramic Cat and Dog into giant ‘squishees’ that you can paint on. After Heritage Open Day, the squishees will return to the exhibition space, so you’ll be able to see your contribution every time you visit. This event is part of our Heritage Open Days programme, celebrating England’s largest festival of history and culture. 

Taking place in the Create space, recommended for children and young people, children under 14 must be accompanied.
