The Magic of The Silver Swan Preview

The Bowes Museum and The Friends of The Bowes Museum invite you and a guest to a special event on Friday, 7 July to celebrate the opening of The Magic of The Silver Swan at The Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle.

This exciting new exhibition explores movement and kinetic art, from historical to the contemporary. Inspired by the Museum’s famous Silver Swan, this show features objects from our collection alongside work from contemporary artists; Tobias Bradford, Cabaret Mechanical Theatre, Bruce Lacey, Rebecca Moss, Helen Pailing, Kinnara Saraiya, Yinka Shonibare and Martin Smith.

Drinks will be served from 6.00pm.

Followed by speeches at 7.00pm and an opportunity to visit the exhibition, before it opens to the public, until 8.00pm.
