In this spotlight tour, join a member of the welcome team to hear about Clara the Indian rhino, who travelled from the subcontinent to 18th-century Europe, creating a sensation wherever she went. Explore her remarkable journey and how she inspired poems, paintings and sculptures. This event is part of our Heritage Open Days programme, celebrating England’s largest festival of history and culture.

Starting in the Blue Picture gallery, recommended for adults and young people, children under 14 must be accompanied, 30 people per session.
