In this spotlight tour, join a member of the welcome team to learn about how the collection reveals key moments in history and how people’s views of the past evolve over time. Focusing on the Crimean War, you’ll discover stories through remarkable pieces such as Nicolas Edward Gabé‘s The Congress of Paris (1856) in the Founders Gallery. This event is part of our Heritage Open Days programme, celebrating England’s largest festival of history and culture. 

Starting in the Curiosity gallery, recommended for adults and young people, children under 14 must be accompanied.
