Flying Stitches

Meet Claire A. Baker, who designed the flags currently on display in front of the museum, and contribute to the fourth flag in the series, In Progress, by adding a stitch or two. Discover how the museum inspired her flags and learn about her artistic process and techniques. This event is part of our Heritage Open Days programme, celebrating England’s largest festival of history and culture. 

Drop-in activity taking place in the Music room, recommended for all visitors 8+, children under 14 must be accompanied.
