Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Bring your favourite soft toys along to The Bowes Museum for a picnic filled with games, stories and creative activities, inspired by Pet Project. We’ll round off the session with some relaxing quiet time where you can feel connected to the outdoors and enjoy a bite to eat.  

The session will take place in the wildflower meadow area behind the museum, or in the Conversation Gallery in the case of bad weather. We encourage those attending to bring along a picnic or treat little ones to a tasty children’s packed lunch from Café Bowes for just £5.95.

Recommended for families with children under 8. Booking required, however, there may be availability on the day, ask reception for details.
