The Mini Museum

Experience what it’s like to work with museum collections in this two-hour workshop, bound to spark your imagination and curiosity.  

You’ll tell stories through artworks and objects instead of words, and each session explores different themes, from decoding hidden meanings in artworks, to the journey of objects from creation to display.  

Please contact Alia Cruz, Learning Manager at  learn@thebowesmusuem.org.uk if you have access requirements, so the session can be adapted to suit your needs. 

Booking essential. Recommended for ages 10 – 15. Children under 14 must be accompanied, unless a consent form is signed by their parent or guardian at Reception on the day. 

To reserve your place click ‘book tickets’ and select the ticket that suits you. We’ll confirm your membership when you arrive, or you can pay for a day ticket/ join as a member on the day.
