The Winter Market

Discover a seasonal wonderland with over 100 artists, designers, makers and food stalls. Browse unique gifts including jewellery, ceramics, textiles, original art, candles and skincare, alongside delicious street food, sweet treats, craft beers and warming drinks.

Enjoy free entry to the museum’s galleries and exhibitions, plus a lively programme of artist-led workshops, carolling and festive activities as part of your ticket to the market.

Market stalls stretch from the museum grounds into the galleries, blending heritage with festive cheer. It is the perfect seasonal outing for families, friends and shoppers alike.

Accessible facilities are throughout the museum and grounds, including specialist outdoor matting for the stalls in the museum’s grounds and lift access. Free on-site parking (first-come, first-served) and additional parking nearby.

Tickets: £7.50 per adult before 7 December (£9 afterwards). Members must book tickets to this event, under 18s, full-time students and carers go free. Recommended for all ages, children under 14 must be accompanied.
