The Bowes Museum, is a purpose built public museum, it is all about people and stories and of course our amazing collections. It is a vibrant place of artists, designers and makers, rich in opportunities to get involved. Volunteers are integral to our work whether that is helping share our stories with our visitors or assisting our teams behind the scenes. The Bowes Museum is going through an exciting period of transformation with new spaces opening to visitors in 2024 and lots of new opportunities to get involved.
